Kryptono On The Go keeps you in the KNOW.
Last week was pretty busy but we’re so excited to share why - Kryptono Exchange got listed on CoinMarketCap! And we launched two IEOs by Fanship and Scanetchain! We also have a number of security related updates for you in this bumper crop issue, so let’s get to it.
Kryptono is on CoinMarketCap
We received wonderful news last Thursday that Kryptono Exchange has been listed on CoinMarketCap
. We are placed among the top 30 exchanges in the world, currentlyranked #23
by 24h volume at the time of writing! For this achievement, we would like to express our gratitude to you, all our valued users, for supporting us so much to be able to reach this milestone in just over 2 months since we opened for public trading.
THANK YOU. We KNOW we can count on your continued support.
Withdrawal Facility Slowness?
Last week, it came to our attention that some of our users faced what they believed was an issue with our withdrawal function. After submitting withdrawal requests, their transactions went into an “In Process” mode, which led them to think that Kryptono had been hacked.
We would like to clarify and reassure everyone that there was no hack. In fact, what they encountered is part of our normal process for any withdrawal transactions equivalent in value to USD 10,000 and above. “In Process” denotes that these withdrawals are being processed. For security reasons, such withdrawals may be slower, and users can expect these to take about an hour to finish clearing.
Kryptono manages crypto assets with 2 tiers - AI-based fraud detection and prevention system, well as multi-level and multi-signature actions with human monitoring for large amounts of crypto withdrawal (a process similar to banking systems). Industry best practices and infrastructure according to ISO/IEC 27001 and the CryptoCurrency Security Standard are adopted to secure user data. Security tends to be inversely proportional to convenience, but we believe our measures help to strike a balance (more in our white paper
BTC Deposit Delays
Of late, we have seen many delays occurring with BTC deposits. We would like to assure everyone that due to the security measures that we employ on Kryptono Exchange, your funds are secure.
Sometimes security might seem an impediment to what people want to do online, but it is a necessary part of all financial transactions. Your account security is of utmost priority to us, and we utilize multiple tools and processes to keep your funds secure.
Scanetchain IEO Brings AR Closer
Scanetchain will be one of first commercialized augmented reality (AR) blockchain platforms to enhance daily lives with commercialized Dapp and suite of services. It will change the way businesses advertise to consumers, the way we shop, the way we view and interact with content, and change the way we interact with people and social networks.
Using AR technology, Scanetchain digitally identifies products, brands, and images around us both online and offline. By assigning a scannable marker to each object, users can scan items of physical objects with their smartphone camera, without additional equipment or requirements, and instantly access the paired blockchain-based online platform. How cool is that?

Fanship IEO is Happening
Yes, Fanship’s IEO
is on for one month till September 8, 2018 while XFS stocks last (details too in our earlier IEO announcement
). We hear they are dropping new Youtube videos this week. But so far it’s also been happening in more ways than one.
When XPAD launched pre-orders for XFS last Tuesday (Aug 7), a scam attempt trying to impersonate Kryptono was caught the same day. It used @kryptono_support as a Telegram handle, which is NOT us at all. The incident even prompted our friends at Fanship to tweet this:
If you read Issue No. 5
of our newsletter, you might have noticed our tip on how to identify our official support admin
on Telegram. Do check it out if you haven’t before.
We at Kryptono would like to reiterate to all our users that XPAD is the one and only official platform for Fanship’s XFS token sale. Any random solicitation you might receive from someone claiming to be from Kryptono or Fanship that does not use XPAD to transact is a fake. As Fanship says, KNOWing where your money goes - one of the many benefits of an IEO.

And as always,
may the KNOW be with you.
